Privacy Policy
What ForWholesaler collects from buyers, why, and the choices you have over it.
What we collect
Account and business details you give us (name, work email, mobile, company and GST details), the addresses and team members you add, and the records your activity produces — requests for quotation, quotes, orders, returns, disputes and support tickets. We also collect basic technical data such as device and browser information and pages viewed.
Why we use it
To run your account and the procurement workflow, to share the details a seller needs to quote and deliver your order, to process payments and issue GST-compliant invoices, to provide support, and to detect fraud and misuse. We use aggregate usage data to improve the product.
Who we share it with
Sellers you transact with receive the details needed to fulfil that order — not your wider account history. We also use service providers for hosting, payments, email, logistics and analytics, who may process data only on our instructions. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Transaction, invoice and tax records are retained for the period Indian law requires. Other account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Your choices
You can view and correct your business details, addresses and team from your account settings, and ask us to export or delete data we are not required to retain. Order and quote alerts are tied to transactions; marketing email can be turned off separately.
Security
Access to buyer data is restricted to the account it belongs to and to staff who need it to provide support. Report anything that looks like a security problem through Contact Us.
Changes and contact
We will reflect material changes to this policy here. Questions about your data, or a request to exercise any of the choices above, go through Contact Us. The terms governing use of the platform are in our Terms of Service.
This is a plain-language summary pending review by your legal counsel — replace it with the final policy, and add your registered entity and grievance-officer details, before launch.
